The Martlets
Housing estate built in the 1960s on the site of an old school. Taken about 15 minutes before sunrise.

Entrance to Covered Reservoir
Looking past a set of garages towards the flint wall that surrounds the reservoir which was created in the last decades of the 19th century and predates all except Cardinal Newman School on the section of The Upper Drive between Old Shoreham Road and Dyke Road.

The Martlets
The eastern end of the road that begins at Merlin Close heads then swings round before continue back westwards towards Radinden Manor Road. This part runs parallel with Dyke Road which lies beyond the foliage to the left. The state was built in the 1960s on the site of a former school.

Covered Reservoir
Located in the middle of 60s housing development the reservoir has been here since the mid nineteenth century and is certainly marked on the 1880s map. This view looks north west from the small drive leading to its gates.

64-66 The Upper Drive
