Westbourne Gardens, Aldrington, Hove
A residential road that runs between New Church Road and Portland Road that was developed in the 1880s. It is named after an old stream, now underground, that once formed the old parish boundary between Hove and Aldrington. The road was called Upper Westbourne Villas on the 1898 OS map.

Westbourne Street, Aldrington, Hove
A residential street that runs from Westbourne gardens crosses Portland Road and continues northwards to the railway ending at the junction with Arthur Street. Built in the 1880s and named after a former stream that once ran to the sea and formed the old parish boundary between Hove and Aldrington.

Built in the grounds of one of the many villas along New Church Road, now a care centre for older people with mental health problems.

Aldrington House, New Church Road, Aldrington, Hove
Originally built as a private home in the early 1890s. The house and its grounds were purchased by the founders of the Lady Chichester Hospital and opened in 1920 to treat psychiatric patients particularly in women and children. The institution closed in 1988 though the building still remains in the ownership of the NHS who use it as a day centre
