Former Kinemacolour film studios, Cambridge Grove, Hove
Originally built and opened by James Williamson in 1902, this building was one of the earliest purpose-built film production and processing units in the country. The building remained in use until 1915 when its new owner G.A Smith lost a patent case over the word Kinemacolour and was made bankrupt. The picture was taken from the northern side of the westcoast railway line near Wilbury Villas bridge which is the second bridge to the east of Hove Station.
