Watching cricket at Hove
It's probably a decent view from the balconies of the flats on Palmeira Avenue, but only two pairs of residents were watching Sussex's match against Nottinghamshire. More people were enjoying the spectacle from the tables outside the hospitality tents in the south-east corner, and there was a good crowd in other parts of the ground.

Salisbury Road
The varied architectural styles represent the borders of 19th century estates as they were built up. The town houses on the left were on the old Stanford Estate whilst the mish of styles to the right represent land previously on the Goldsmid estate. Whereas the former was built up quicker the latter was developed more piecemeal with the land to the right still empty in the 1920s.
