Newlands Barn
Located on the corner of Saltdean Vale and Lustrells Crescent and one of three original farm buildings that survive from the pre-estate days. Built near the end of the 18th century the barn and neighbouring stables became workshops then offices for the Saltdean Estate Company. The building was listed in 1977 and converted to residential use in 1983.

Wivelsfield Road, Saltdean
The northern part of the road that heads down to Tumulus Road. Out of shot to the right the road turns south westwards and heads towards Falmer Avenue, see Image In the distance to the left are Image that contain local shops. Beyond are two green rectangles, that to the left lies in the middle of Image whilst to its right is another that forms the middle of Image Continuing southwards a smaller area of green marks the location of Image and another on the far right marks the line of Image All those named roads form junctions to the east with Image Continuing eastwards three more lines of housing form Image, Arlington Gardens and Image respectively. All of those roads form junctions with Greenbank Avenue further to the east which borders onto Telscombe Tye. Below the Tye to the north Coombe Farm can just be made out.

A residential road that runs between Bishopstone Drive and Saltdean Vale. Not laid out on the 1930s OS map but in existence by the 1951 edition with the houses completed by the mid 1960s.

Saltdean Vale, Saltdean
The main arterial road for the central part of Saltdean which by and large runs across the floor of what was once Saltdean Bottom. Main vehicular access ends at the junction with Coombe Vale though the road continues northwards as a track.
