5 Dean Court Road
Part of a Mock Tudor terrace (even to the extent of having the year 1530 carved into the support beam of the main gable). Referring to the date, the Sussex East Pevsner volume states "This could almost be believed, but the whole is the most entertaining fakery, using genuinely old materials and converted from farm buildings c.1930."

Tudor Cottages, Dean Court Road, Rottingdean
A small terrace of three cottages that were once a tithe barn and adjacent flint cottages belonging to Court Farm. They, along with Tudor Close, were acquired in 1929 by the Saltdean Estate Company who restored them in a 'Tudorbethan' style using materials gathered from other old buildings in the area. Number 1, on the left, was the former barn which possibly dates from 1530. See http://www.rottingdeanvillage.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Page-49-upper.jpg for an original view of the buildings.

St Margaret's Church, Rottingdean
St Margaret's church is the parish church of Rottingdean in Brighton.
A place of worship has stood in the position since the Saxon period, although there is disagreement over whether any part of the current structure is of Saxon origin. The Normans started building a cruciform church in the early 12th century, More details at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Margaret's_Church,_Rottingdean
