Rottingdean Cricket Ground, Falmer Road, Rottingdean
There has been a cricket club in the village since 1758, one of the oldest in the country, though they have only been playing here since after the First World War having previously played further up the hill at Balsdean and next to the windmill on Beacon Hill. Beyond the cricket green is a football pitch which has been home to Rottingdean Village FC since the mid 1980s when they became the third incarnation of a football club representing the village. Overlooking both to the right is Bazehill Manor, a block of apartments built in the last decade or so.
