A recently built modern cottage set back from the B2123 along the access road to Image which is also a public bridleway that continues westwards up Beacon Hill.

Rottingdean Cricket Ground, Falmer Road, Rottingdean
There has been a cricket club in the village since 1758, one of the oldest in the country, though they have only been playing here since after the First World War having previously played further up the hill at Balsdean and next to the windmill on Beacon Hill. Beyond the cricket green is a football pitch which has been home to Rottingdean Village FC since the mid 1980s when they became the third incarnation of a football club representing the village. Overlooking both to the right is Bazehill Manor, a block of apartments built in the last decade or so.

Rottingdean Recreation Ground
Containing a football pitch, tennis courts, children's play area and public conveniences. Located in a former field called Court ord according to Rottingdean's 1839 tithe map and accessed via Falmer Road, see Image To the north the houses are part of Image High Hill is visible to the right.

The parade of shops was built in the late 1950s and fronts a small estate built around Image At the far end are Court Ord Cottages which predate the development by a good fifty years.
