Old Milestone by the B2104, Ersham Road, Hailsham
Metal plate attached to stone post by the B2104 (was A22), in parish of HAILSHAM (WEALDEN District), Ersham Road, in fence of cemetery, on verge bank by hedge, on East side of road. Numbered iron plate, erected by the Horsebridge & Horeham turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 56 (To London) Milestone Society National ID: SX_LLE56.
