Langtye Lane
The section of the lane leading towards Mays Corner. Much of the lane dates from at least Roman times when it was the southern boundary of the Roman field system based around Ripe and Chalvington, though it is believed that they may have used an older existing track from the Iron Age. The house on the left is Lower Mays.
