The two cottages on the right are called "Prospect Cottages" In the centre of the view, where the black bin stands, was the site of the street water pump and I recall that it was still in use until mains water was laid in the late 1960s.

Blue Plaque for Food!, The Hungry Monk, Jevington, East Sussex
