Polegate signal box
This signal box controls the level crossing as well as the railway signals at Polegate station. The level crossing gates are down, indicating that a train is about to pass.

Polegate station - level crossing
A class 377 Electrostar approaches the crossing on an eastbound Coastway service. The crossing is of the AHB (automatic half barrier) type but retains a manual signalbox.
