Silver Lane
Looking towards the junction with Bishopstone Road. To the left is Monksdown Barn which has now been converted into a couple of dwellings whilst to the right is Forge Cottage which, as the name suggests, is the site of the former village smithy. Silver Lane itself is part of the ancient east-west route that joined Bishopstone to neighbouring East Blatchington then on to Seaford. It is now a bridleway.
