The end of The Beachcomber
The Beachcomber was once a fine establishment on the seafront at Seaford. It was being hastily demolished when I took this photograph - so much so that the glasses were still above the bar on the first floor as could be seen through the window on the right, and the chairs were still in the downstairs lounge covered with dust.

Scooter Boys
Turning out of Dane Road into Marine Parade is a group of five boys using scooters (and one on a bicycle). Not so long ago scooters of this general design were considered to be toys for small children but nowadays teenagers, and even adults, can often be seen using them.
