Martello tower no. 62
According to Historic England, it was known as the Grey Tower and was constructed in 1806 as one of a series of similar buildings along the south coast forming part of the strategy to guard against invasion from France during the Napoleonic wars. During WWII a pillbox was added to the roof. It is now surrounded by holiday cabins.
