Recently built petrol station and shop. The old services building is to the right of the picture,and despite being reasonably modern, has been abandoned.

Pevensey Roundabout
The eastern starting point of the A27 before its long journey west to Hampshire. The roundabout was constructed in the 1990s as part of the Pevensey By-pass and moved the junction of the A259 and A27 a few hundred yards eastwards. Viewed from the Pevensey exit of the former with from left to right, the A27 exit, Wartling Road, and out of view the A259 east to Bexhill and Hastings and the minor road to Normans Bay and Cooden. Pevensey Services which include petrol, a convenience store and a Costa Coffee are opposite.

Manxey Barn
Former barn located on an Elizabethan saltworks that has recently undergone a name change to the Lapwing Business Park though judging by the lack of any activity going on here coupled with the advertisements for space the former agricultural barns are still standing idle. Located at the southern end of Wartling Road next to the junction with Rickney Lane.

Old Course of Wartling Road
Disused after the building of the Pevensey By-Pass which can be seen at the end of this stretch. The new course now runs east to Pevensey Roundabout.
