William Clarke Park, Brighton
Occupying the site of the former Kemp Town railway. Having crossed Hartington Road on a bridge the line entered a deep cutting until it reached the northern portal of Kemp Town Tunnel. After the line's closure in 1971 much of the cutting has been used as landfill then landscaped into the park. Behind the photographer the park ends and becomes playgrounds for Elm Grove Junior School. See also Image

Bonchurch Road - Street light during the day
It is 3.45pm and the sky has been unusually dark despite no rain, so dark that the street lights came on It is thought the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia dragged tropical air and dust from the Sahara, which turned the sky a strange red. It was so dark in Brighton and Hove that streetlights switched on, with automatic sensors thinking it was nighttime http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/15599879.Red_sky_leaves_onlookers_in_awe/

Whippingham Road, Brighton
A residential street that runs from Elm Grove to Hartington Road that was developed in the 1890s. This view is from the junction with Bernard Place looking towards a removal van which appears to be run by ZZ Top - let's hope they still have the legs to carry these items around ***I'll get my coat***.
