Former Parochial Offices, Princes Street
Head south down Princes Street a narrow street behind Pavilion Parade. Opened in 1896 on the site of the former County Court building that moved to Church Street in 1869 it was home to the Board of Guardians who administered the Poor Law of 1832. After its dissolution in 1930 the Council used the building as offices until the late 1980s. The building is currently awaiting a new use. The Queens Arms, George Street, Brighton
Originally a public house that opened around the 1850s but has most recently been a gay cabaret bar. At the time of writing I'm not certain if it is still open, its facebook page last posted 22 hours ago whilst the actual website is thanking everybody for their memories and stating they are closed. There is an RIP gravestone in the window but again this was the day after halloween.
