Morrisons, St James's Street, Brighton
Built in 1985 and designed to blend in with its surroundings, hence the doric pillars. Originally a Presto, then a Safeway by the late 1980s, a Somerfields by the mid 1990s and since 2009 a Morrisons. Viewed from Manchester Street.

The Queens Arms, George Street, Brighton
Originally a public house that opened around the 1850s but has most recently been a gay cabaret bar. At the time of writing I'm not certain if it is still open, its facebook page last posted 22 hours ago whilst the actual website is thanking everybody for their memories and stating they are closed. There is an RIP gravestone in the window but again this was the day after halloween.

1-3, Charles Street, Brighton
The newer building on the left was built in the 1970s on the site of a former public house that opened as Ther Ship In Distress in 1830, changed its name to The Schooner in 1869, then closed in 1891.

The Kings Arms, George Street, Brighton
These days both a public house and a hostel. The pub itself dates back to at least 1799 and probably opened when the street was developed during that decade.
