Sussex Square, Brighton
The gardens of Sussex Square were the first part of the Kemp Town Estate to be laid out and they were enclosed by railings in 1824. There is a notice on the railings giving full details - see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7256787
The gardens are private. The houses of Lewes Crescent can be seen on the far side.
