Paston Place
View up the street to the Royal Sussex County Hospital's entrance at the end of it. The hospital was designed by Charles Barry and opened in 1828 in what was then open countryside and has been expanding ever since.

Paston Place, Kemp Town, Brighton
The road links marine Parade, the A259, with Eastern Road and was developed in the early 1860s. The section in view lies north of St George's Road, the B2118, and is looking towards the entrance of the Royal Sussex county Hospital. Cavendish House, the building on the right, was built in the late 1980s on the site of the former Kemp Town Odeon cinema.

A residential street that links Paston Place to Abbey Road that was built in the late 1860s. The building at the end of the street is part of the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

St George's Church, Kemp Town, Brighton
Grade II listed. Designed by Charles Augustus Busby in 1825. Rectangular church without transepts, it has a fine west end with Grecian bell tower and Doric pilasters either side of the entrance. The church can seat 1,300 people.
