Devonshire Place
Looking across Grand Parade at the junction of the B2103 and B2106. The statue belongs to the seventh Duke of Devonshire and was erected in 1901 and is a reminder that the modern seaside of town of Eastbourne was developed by the dukes on their land.

Duke of Devonshire statue, Eastbourne
This statue commemorates William Cavendish, the 7th Duke of Devonshire, who is credited as the founder of the town of Eastbourne. The statue is at the end of Devonshire Place, facing out towards the sea.
