This path is part of the cyclist network. Very fast and noisy vehicles pass close by.

Downs north of A27
The small black dots in the sky towards the right are not birds, but flies at closer range. They seemed to be St Mark's Fly, the black flies with dangling legs that swarm along hedgerows about this time of year.

Tithe Barn, Court Farm, Falmer
Viewed from St Laurence's churchyard and dating back to the medieval period when it was built by the monks Lewes Priory who then owned the estate containing the village of Falmer. The wood in the distance is Cranedean Plantation.

St Laurence's Church
Described by Pevsner as "Crushingly neo-Norman" due to it being rebuilt in 1817 and again in 1865. On East Street next to the village pond.
