Reed Thatch and 94, Wepham Green, Wepham
Two buildings with an association with Mervyn Peake author of the Gormenghast trilogy who is buried in nearby St Mary's church. Reed Thatch on the left was the home of his parents and was built between the wars, whilst 94 is the small flint cottage that dates from the 17th century and was briefly rented out by Mervyn's wife Maeve whilst he was away on service during the Second World War.
