Dominican Friary, Arundel.
A Dominican Friary was established beside the River Arun in 1253 but was destroyed during the dissolution of the monasteries in 1538. Most of the friary buildings were robbed of their stonework to build a bridge across the Arun. This is part of the 'Preaching Nave'. For a brief history of the Friary refer to Image
