A neat white brick box, perhaps as near as the Georgians came to Modernism! The latter would not have bothered with the Doric loggia. By Robert Smirke, 1803 (similar to his Image]). Grade II* listed.

The Old Bakery, Walberton
The cream house has this name. In the brickwork above the double doors is an arch, suggesting there was once a through passage rather higher and narrower than the current doorway.
