Steps to Lovers Walk
Lovers Walk is a cul-de-sac that runs onto Preston Road, the A23. The steps link it with Dyke Road Drive and save the walker a mile detour.

Lovers Walk Cottages
A small group of cottages on the left obscured by the trees between Dyke Road Drive and Lovers Walk.Access to the former is by foot up a flight of stairs at the end of this lane. The cottages are pre 1850 and were some the earliest buildings in the area between the then northern limit of Brighton and separate village of Preston.

Travelodge, Preston Road
On the A23 at the corner of Lovers Walk opposite the southern end of the park. The buildings in the stretch between here and the junction of Stanford Avenue and soulless and in some cases empty blocks.
