As featured on channel 4's 'Grand Designs' programme a few years ago. The house lies on a bend in Withdean Road, hence its name. This section of Withdean Road is one of the more upmarket areas of the city and for a while the dwelling next door to this was the home of singer, Peter Andre.

Olympic Heights, Withdean Road, Withdean
Four former semi-detached properties from the 1970s were purchased during the first decade of the 21st century in order to build a couple of luxury town houses with swimming pools overlooking Withdean Stadium. Work began on the first in 2009 and has since stalled due to the credit crunch and the site is now awaiting sale for another developer to continue with the build. The second site out of sight to the right is currently fenced off whilst this one has one resident, namely a security guard who was visible through the top right window.
