Pelham Street
Number two on the right is the only survivor of a whole terrace of cobbled fronted cottages that was pulled down in the 1960s to make way for a new technical college now Brighton City College.

Graffiti in college carpark

Trafalgar Street
The B2119 that runs from Terminus Road under the forecourt of the station then down to York Place, the A23. The street was developed around the 1840s after the arrival of the railway though a few dwellings existed prior to that at the bottom of the street. To the left is Trafalgar Place erected in the late 1980s on the site of the entrance to the former goods yard. The morning mist is still noticeable.

Sydney Street in Brighton
Looking north towards Trafalgar Street. The tower block is City College, Brighton and Hove.
Shortly before midday on New Year's Day 2015, and the weather is becoming very dull. Shoppers are gradually increasing in numbers, with some shops open all day or from twelve o'clock.
