The Quashetts, Broadwater, Worthing
This nondescript back alley is actually part of an ancient route that once linked Cissbury Ring with the coast and is still a designated public footpath from Broadwater Street East to Station Road, south of the railway. The area was developed in the late 1920s and through the 1930s and has built round the old footpath either becoming roads or being utilised as twittens and alleys.
