Kingswood House
An old farmhouse built in the 18th century that is located on Horsham Road just to the north of the junction with the bypass. The house eventually became a couple of cottages but was reunited as one dwelling in the 1960s. The post office van passed me about four times on my long circular walk during the morning.

Late Homewoods/Home Mead
The name of the fields according to Findon's 1839 tithe map that have been joined together to make a larger unit. Late Homewoods is in the foreground and was once part of a larger field, see Image, that was separated by the construction of a line from Horsham Road to Longfurlong that is now Image Home Mead is further up the slope and lies immediately to the rear of Image The wood is the eastern end of Coventry Plantation.

A small cul-de-sac off Image that was developed in the 1990s on a field once known as Kingswood Front Meadow according to Findon's 1839 tithe map.

Road With No Name
The road has a number of named cul-de-sacs branching off it but no designated appellation itself though it follows the course of an old bridleway. It was developed from the 1930s onward.

Findon Bypass
Opened in 1938 to take the A24 around the narrow roads of Findon village. This section between Horsham Road and the junction with Longfurlong followed the course of an already existing highway.
