North Combe
The name of the field according to Findon's 1839 tithe map that lies to the immediate west of Image Part of the far end of the field has been lost to Image which was only developed in the 1960s a good thirty years after the rest of the suburb was built after its transfer from Findon parish to Worthing. The field is now a public open space and popular with locals. On the far side of the valley is Salvington Hill to the left and West Hill to the right.

Central Avenue, Findon Valley
A wide tree lined avenue linking the eastern edge of the suburb to Findon Road, the A24. This part of Findon was transferred to Worthing in 1933 and subsequently developed during the rest of that decade. Salvington Hill is beyond.

Minshells Field
The name of the field according to Findon's 1839 tithe map. Part of the western end of the field has been lost to Image which was developed in the 1960s. The suburb of Findon Valley is beyond which was built when the land here was transferred from Findon parish to Worthing in 1933. On the far side of the valley is Salvington and west Hills to the left and Church Hill to the right.

A residential road that links Fondon Road, the A24, to the south with Central Avenue in the north. In the foreground it crosses Image Much of the suburb to the east of Findon Road and north of Coombe Rise was once part of Findon parish until it was transferred to Worthing in 1933 after which this suburb was developed.
