Clifton Street
Head south down Buckingham Road then turn east down Guildford Road and then north into Clifton Street. Built up after Brighton Station (5 minutes walk away) opened in the 1850s.

Mill Row, West Hill Road
As the name suggests this row of modern housing stands on the site of a former windmill known as Hodsons Mill that was constructed in 1804 and removed in 1866 having been engulfed by the urban development of Brighton. See http://regencysociety-jamesgray.com/volume31/source/jg_31_032.html for an image taken around the late 1850s and http://regencysociety-jamesgray.com/volume31/source/jg_31_027.html of the mill being demolished in 1866. The base of the windmill was retained and used for storage for many years after but was demolished in the 1960s when the present houses were built. West Hill Road was developed from the 1850s and connects Buckingham Road to Dyke Road.
