West Parade
Looking along West Parade. The large apartment block on the left is Capelia House, built in 1989. The name commemorates the German barque Capella which in 1891 ran aground on the beach opposite but was successfully refloated - however the name was misspelt, hence the slight difference.

Public house on Heene Road. Two levels, with counter mid-right, drinking areas front, left and back; pool, darts, bar billiards and garden. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Goldmark Hop Idol, Harvey's Old, Sussex Bitter, Triple FFF Pressed Rat & Warthog.
