Marine Parade, including "tangerine bar cafe" and corner of Bath Place
Bath Place is the narrow "no entry" road on the right. To the left, where the red parasols are, is "tangerine bar cafe" (they spell it with a small "t") at numbers 37-39 Marine Parade. Since the photo was taken the cafe seems to have been dropped from the name. http://www.tangerinebar.co.uk/Tangerine_Bar/home.html

Town map vending machine, Marine Parade
This is a town map vending machine, situated nearly opposite the tangerine bar cafe in Marine Parade. Insert a £1 coin and you can chose to have a town map with text in English, German or French. What a brilliant idea! Image

Worthing: traffic on Marine Parade
Not a serious traffic jam, this - just caused by the pedestrian crossing directly outside the pier. The frontages provide an attractive backdrop.

Marine Parade and beach
In the distance is the Pavilion Theatre at the landward end of the pier. The beach here is shingle. A seagull is about to land on the beach.
