West Parade
Looking along West Parade. The large apartment block on the left is Capelia House, built in 1989. The name commemorates the German barque Capella which in 1891 ran aground on the beach opposite but was successfully refloated - however the name was misspelt, hence the slight difference.

The Worthing Tramocars formed part of the public transport network in the 1920s and 1930s, a "waterfront service". BP9822 is a replica Worthing Tramocar, based at the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre.
