Montague Street Worthing in 1986 (1)
The premises of Here & Now, and Peter Lord at 62 & 64 was the site of the Montague Brewery from 1817 to c.1915. Various retail premises continued under its roof until its demolition during development here in 1969. The brewery's proprietor from 1862 to 1885 was Jacob Searle, an ancestor of mine.
