Worthing Gas Holder
Built on the site of the old gas works in Lyndhurst Road Worthing. The gas works closed in 1931 and the gas holder was built in 1934. The gas holder is now redundant and land is being considered for residential and retail development.

Beach House Park
These gardens are owned by Worthing Borough Council. They were purchased from the Beach House Estate in December 1922 and opened to the public in Spring 1924. As well as formal flower gardens it has five automatically irrigated international class flat bowling greens, two outdoor chess/draughts boards and three tennis courts. On this sunny afternoon the bowling greens are being fully utilised.
