Beach House Park
These gardens are owned by Worthing Borough Council. They were purchased from the Beach House Estate in December 1922 and opened to the public in Spring 1924. As well as formal flower gardens it has five automatically irrigated international class flat bowling greens, two outdoor chess/draughts boards and three tennis courts. On this sunny afternoon the bowling greens are being fully utilised.

Beach House Park, Ornamental Garden
There is a memorial to wartime carrier pigeons on this mound with a metal plaque to the north side with the following inscription:-
"On top of this mound is a memorial to warrior birds who gave their lives on active service 1939-45. It is also for the pleasure & use of living birds."
