St. Bartholomew, Westhoughton
The church was almost totally destroyed by fire in 1990, only the tower remaining intact. It was rebuilt in 1995.

Westhoughton Parish Church
A thoroughgoing reconstruction of the original building has left only the original tower standing whilst the space has been used to provide modern worship and community facilities. Not many parishes have had such courage. I hope it works.
