The Shakespeare, Farnworth
Built in 1926 for the local brewer, Magee Marshall in a neo-Tudor style in red brick with grey terracotta dressings with a roof of slate from Delabole in Cornwall. Listed Grade II as a largely unspoilt example of its period; the interior is noted as being essentially unchanged.
