Grecian Mills, entrance gateway
The main entrance to the mill complex on Lever Street. The door to the right is dated 1869; the building housed offices and a boardroom and is evidence of the need for increased office accommodation for the expanding business at that time.

Bench mark, Grecian Mills
Cut mark on the door jamb of the entrance to Catherine House. This is the building seen to the left of the gateway in http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3106504
The bench mark is fairly eroded and was rather less obvious than this picture suggests.

Grecian Mills, Bolton
A former cotton mill that is now in multiple occupancy. This is the west range date 1878. Although Alan Murray-Rust states this seems to have been for warehouses and workshops, it does include a chimney base and may well have housed its own steam engine.

Grecian Mills, courtyard
In the angle between the original 1845 mill to the right and the final 1925 extension. The detailing of the latter is in the then relatively modern material of concrete, rather than Portland Stone which it appears to be trying to imitate.

Grecian Mills, Bolton
Former textile mill now in multiple occupancy. This view shows the 1925 extension to the left of the late 19th century second phase. The paler detailing on the extension is in concrete rather than stone
