To the left is the late 19th century extension to the 1845 mill and to the right is the 1925 extension with its unusual concrete architectural detailing. This is a large complex that is part demolished and not in pristine condition although it is listed.

Grecian Mills, Bolton
A large complex of cotton mills dating back to 1845 and listed although part demolished. The large block here is from 1845 and has a more modern engine house projecting to the left. In front of the engine house the single storey, two bay building with pitched roofs was most probably a boiler house. The site is now in multiple occupancy.

Grecian Mills, north east range
Undated, but probably a later 19th century extension to the original mill. Most of the hard-standing area was occupied by a range of terraced houses facing onto Grecian Street, leaving just a narrow back street (Grecian Street West) alongside the mill itself. This was demolished in the 1970s.

Grecian Mills from the north
To the left is the late 19th century second phase of the mill, and to the right the 1925 extension. The light-coloured dressings of this section are concrete rather than stone. Until the 1970s there were terraced houses where the cars are parked.
