The Sweet Green Tavern
A pub on Crook Street, Bolton. The side wall sports an accurate depiction of a train crash in Crook Street on 16th March 1918. The engine left the track and smashed through the side of a building. Bolton, The Church Hotel
The derelict shell of The Church Hotel at the corner of Bridge Street and Crook Street with Moncrieffe Street. The pub closed in mid-2008 because of falling trade and the empty building was badly damaged by a fire the following year.
