Bank Lane Friendly Burial Society
Friendly Burial Societies were a feature of the 1800s and were established to enable members to save for their burial and help their families with the costs. This society was in the Reading Room on Spring Street in Shuttleworth. It was finally absorbed into the Oddfellows Society.
