Charminster: Charminster Road Spiritualist Church
A small church, one of three churches in the immediate vicinity: the others being Image (next door but one) and Image (directly opposite). The end of Richmond Wood Road is also in the picture.

Charminster: postbox № BH8 400, Charminster Road
A modern postbox of a design which seems only ever to be found on forecourts of petrol stations. Its advertised last collection times are 4:30pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on Saturdays.
The number of the box, BH8 400, is a little spurious as it is a duplicate of the box outside the sorting office in Wellington Road. My theory as to how this occurred is that the sorting office box previously had a BH1 number and that was re-numbered to BH8 when the sorting office moved to Wellington Road.
