Winter on Diamond Place, Muscliff, Bournemouth
Diamond Place is a residential cul-de-sac in Muscliff, a suburb of Bournemouth.
This image was taken on a very cold December day, after an overnight dusting of snow. On the road surface, the snow had turned to slush and begun to melt away as cars had driven over it.

A magnet for graffiti like many postboxes, this one is in Broadway Lane, on the corner of Greenways Avenue.

The Broadway, Castle Lane
Typical 1930s pub in "brewers' tudor" style; rectangular with rooms around large central bar. Cask ale available when I visited: Greene King IPA.

Charminster: the Broadway pub
This pub stands on the busy junction of Castle Lane (ahead/behind), Charminster Road (to right), and Broadway Lane (left), from which latter street it takes its name. The pub has had a bit of a rough reputation in the past but this has improved markedly during the last couple of landlords' tenancies and it is a good local with good food and good atmosphere.
