Bournemouth: warmth and cold in the Gardens
Looking across the Central Gardens the day after a reasonable amount of snow fell in the town. In the distance, a bonfire has been lit in the back garden of a property in Surrey Road, which is currently undergoing some kind of renovation.

A young willow stands close to two mature specimens on the bank of the Bourne Stream, which flows for 2 to 3 miles through the linear Gardens into Bournemouth town centre.

Bournemouth: path and bench in the Upper Gardens
This southwest side of Bournemouth Gardens is almost perpetually in the shade thanks to the overhanging trees. A weeping willow (see Image]) stands tall enough to catch the sun, though.
