I think this postbox may have superseded or been repositioned from further along, perhaps roughly where the silver car is in the distance. This is because it is listed as Litchford Road on the Royal Mail's postbox list, Litchford Road being just along there.

Ashley: post office
Ashley's post office will close in February 2008, along with sixty others in Hampshire. This view will probably not change at all apart from the removal of the familiar red oval sign. The post office had previously been within a general stores across the road from here.
