Castleman Trailway, Ashley Heath, near Ringwood
A view along the Castleman Trailway at Ashley Heath, looking towards Ringwood. This section of the trail is on the route of a former railway. The railway closed in the 1960s, under the "Beeching Cuts".
This section of the trail is also on route 256 of the National Cycle Network.

Ashley Heath: postbox № BH24 58, Lions Lane
The farther north of Lions Lane's two postboxes, both of which are attached to telephone poles, and both of which are emptied at 3pm on weekdays and 9am on Saturdays.
However, the next-collection plate was still displaying Saturday, so either the postman forgot to change it yesterday or he forgot to empty the box!
